Q: You know, I have read so many articles about diets and carbs, and by now, everyone knows the difference between complex and simple carbs ok?

I just wish these articles would emphasize working out and watching portion size ok?

I mean, this isn’t rocket science, you know?

The rule is: calories in and calories out ok, end of story.

So, I just have to wonder why so many new books and magazines come out each month with some so called new diet ok???

A: I totally agree with you and I’m glad to see someone from the ‘general public’ knowing this.

You’d be surprised how many people DON’T know the difference between simple and complex carbs. Some people even don’t realize that simple sugar is a big no-no when you want to lose fat.

Why so many ebooks and ‘fad diets’? Simple… people want easy, quick solutions when we both know that there is no such thing. The fitness industry generates millions of dollars per year on this stuff and try to trick people that you don’t need to check your calories, you don’t need to workout, etc. etc. etc.
